Diet to Get Six Pack Abs!

A bang-up diet is one of the primary ingredients in getting six pack abs. And I mean bang-up.
You've gotta watch what you eat, make sure it's healthy stuff, and eat frequently. All these techniques exist to (1) keep your metabolism going fast and (2) make your body take a lot of energy to get energy out of your food.
So, lets eat some...
Raw or Un-Processed Foods
Raw and un-processed foods are great because they're what your body was designed to eat. It naturally gets lots of nourishment from veggies, fruits, lean meats, and whole grains.

And is NOT nourished by candy bars, beer, and other stuff that's high in calories but low in nutrients. And all the preservatives in candy and most 'energy bars' are processed fats that really should not be in your body in the first place.
But by eating un-processed foods you'll make your body work hard to get energy and nutrients from them - which is just one more thing for your body to put energy into (and not putting it into fat on your abs). Celery, for example, takes more energy to break-down and metabolize than you get from it.
So eat healthy stuff like sweet potatoes, whole grains, fresh fruit, and lean meats like fish, shellfish, egg whites, and raw dairy. Which brings me to...
Balance Your Meals: Carbohydrates, Protean, & Healthy Fats
At each meal, you should have about half your calories coming from carbohydrates (grains), and the other half should be from lean meats and healthy fats. This is how you want to organize your foods.
The carbohydrates get used over a period of time & thus keep you with a nice amount of energy till your next meal. The protean in the lean meats helps you build up muscle, and the healthy fats (nuts, dehydrogenated oils, etc.) keep your body and hormones running smoothly.
There's no need to be excessively anal about these ratios, but try to balance each of your meals. This is the best way to get all the nutrients you need, while still eating enough (or not enough) to lose weight.
Finally...
Count Your Calories
Yes, count them! Again, this depends on how controlling you are about what goes in your mouth. And how much you want that six pack...
Even if you're eating healthy, you need to eat slightly less calories than the amount needed to keep you at the weight you're at. You're trying to lose weight (fat) to show off your six pack.
This is simply a necessity. Do it.
But there are other diet techniques to help you eat healthy and lose fat. Where can you find them?
